Well,Carter FINALLY retired from the army-after almost a quarter century(he actually thinks thats a long time-come on.......I go back MILLENIA)-anyway,since he's been gracious enough-or stupid enough-to put up with my caveman ass(well,I DID get him out of a jam during a bar room brawl back in 77,when we first met),I've been hanging out with him a lot the past few years-I did'nt accompany him to Iraq-although I probably SHOULD have,to keep him out of trouble.Anyway,I rode back from Texas with him a few weeks back-and the asshole made me ride in the BACK of his truck!Well,I showed HIM........he got pulled over in Shawano because someone in the back of his truck was mooning passing police cars.......anyway,once he posted my bond,I caught up with him-he's got a house near Shawano,with a decent garage,and he threw some old gunny sacks in the corner for me to sleep on-come on-WHAT self respecting caveman,who has traveled the world for eons,and even met a few famous people along the way,wants to sleep on gunny sacks in a GARAGE?I really think he should give up his couch-after all,its really HARD to reach all the way from the garage to the house for a beer-and he did'nt even put a refrigerator out here-man,I am PISSED........but thats ok-I'l get him-just have'nt decided WHAT I'll do

Well,y'all have been nagging me to start my own blog,so here goes.Not sure what all to put on here,but as you know,I'm a caveman and I've known Carter since 1977-we've had lots of adventures togetherand hopefully will continue to do so.I'll have to use Carter's computer to do this blog,as I don't have one of my own,and Carter will be out of the loop for a few weeks during his move home for retirement from the army(Carter THINKS he's done some soldiering-he shoulda seen how it was in MY first war).......anyway,I'll check back in periodically,and let you know whats going on.I can be reached at  gronk_d_caveman@yahoo.com   if you're wondering what the D stands for,my middle name is Donald-I'm STILL pissed at my parents for THAT.

While Carter is getting settled,I'm going home to stay with my parents,Grak and Wilhemina-just hope my nauseating Aunt oogie and her wimp husband,Sylvester don't stop over too much while I'm there with them.
